Heidi Klum Buys Bel Air Mansion For $9.875 Million

German supermodel and former Victoria’s Secret angel Heidi Klum recently bought a Bel Air mansion for $9.875 million.

Klum purchased the house from Emmy-winning writer/producer Ed Weinberger after her split from estranged husband Seal. Weinberger customized the house in 2000 and listed it in the market in 2010 for $15 million. The new pad will now be a home for Heidi, her beau Martin Kristen and her four children.

The gigantic home rests on a 12-acre property and features a Georgian-style and brick-and-stone design with eight bedrooms and nine and a half bathrooms. It has more than 11,000 square feet of living space, master suite, grand living spaces, outdoor patio, long and curving driveway, a front entrance opening up to a two-story foyer with a curving staircase and lush lawn.

It also has classic brick interior and hardwood floors with multiple fireplaces, gigantic family room, huge dining room, media room with a bar, library, two offices, kitchen with modern appliances, chandeliers, breakfast bar, wine cellar, third-floor gym/dance studio, basement area, resort-sized pool overlooking Hollywood Hills and room for a tennis court.

Klum and Seal shelled out $14.2 million for a mansion located in Brentwood before they split in September 2011. Klum currently produces and stars in Project Runway, a long-running reality show.
