Enrique Iglesias bid goodbye to his Bay Point mansion.
The “Hero” singer sold his custom built, waterside spot home located at 4411 Sabal Palm Road for $6.7 million.
It is the highest-priced listing sold per square foot. The buyer of the house remains anonymous.
“This is a home defined by privacy and exclusivity, conveniently situated near South Beach and downtown Miami,” said Esther Percal of EWM Realty/Christie’s International Real Estate who represented Enrique in the transaction.
“The Bay Point neighborhood is renowned for its secure setting and has become an ideal location for high-profile buyers," she added.
The two-story, 6,400-square-foot property was built by Iglesias in 1998 and is known for its private setting. It is said to be a love home for him and longtime girlfriend Anna Kournikova but now the couple is rumored to be on the rocks.
The Latin heartthrob and a native of Miami bought the property in 1996 for $640,000. He restored it in 1998 and was featured in Diary MTV series Cribs in 2002.
It features five bedrooms, six bathrooms and offers a view of the Miami Skyline as it is nestled in an exclusive Floridian community. It also offers tropical landscaping.
