Al Capone is an American gang leader which had an estimated net worth of $1.3 billion.

Al Capone started as a gangster when he led one of the group, Junior Forty Thieves and the Bowery Boys. Then, he joined Lower Manhattan's group, Brooklyn Rippers and Five Points Gang.

There's one incident wherein Capone was attacked by a guy named Frank Gallucio and the left side of his face was slashed three times. He was known as Scarface, because of his scar on his face.

When Capone transferred to Chicago with his family, he was recruited by his mentor from Five Points Gang, Johnny Torrio.

During his stint in Chicago, he noticed that there's a lot of business opportunities in the area. After gangster James "Big Jim" Colosimo was murdered, Capone was one of the suspected murderers of Colosimo and other two men.

In 1925, Torrio retired and handed over his organization to Capone. He was known for having personally murdered and ordered the killings of many people. He was believed to have ordered the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in 1929.

In 1931, Capone faced charges with 22 counts of tax evasion and 5,000 violations of the Volstead Act. The judge sentenced him to 11 years in prison, wherein he paid $50,000 in fines

In 1934, he was one of the first inmates at Alcatraz located in San Francisco where he spent more than four years in prison. On November 16, 1939, Capone was paroled.

Alphonse Gabriel Capone was born on January 17, 1899 in Brooklyn, New York. He was married to Mae Josephine Coughlin and had a son. He died on January 25, 1947.
