Nancy Zimmerman is an American entrepreneur who has an estimated net worth of $320 million.

Nancy Zimmerman worked for O' Connor and Associates, and Goldman, Sachs & Co. which she managed the interest rate option group. Shortly, she started buying currency options at Chicago Mercantile Exchange. In 1994, she co-founded Bracebridge Capital. The company's growth, which has an asset under management worth up to $10 billion, makes them one of the world's largest hedge fund company.

Nancy Gail Zimmerman was born and raised in Skokie, Illinois.  She graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island with a degree in Bachelor of Arts and Economics. She serves as a trustee for Brown University and involved in several philanthropic causes ranging from medical science to education reform.

Zimmerman is married to an economist and Harvard University professor, Andrei Shleifer.
