Tetra Laval, the Swiss-based packaging group, turned in sales of £7.6 billion in 2009. This was good news for brother and sister Jorn, 51, and Kirsten Rausing, 58, who are both on the board. They live and work in Britain and are two of the three children of the late Gad Rausing, co-founder of the Swedish Tetra Pak packaging group, which merged with Alfa Laval to form Tetra Laval in 1993. Jorn Rausing also has a stake in the online retailer Ocado. Kirsten owns two Suffolk stud farms and is a passionate racing enthusiast. With strong growth in the Far East, Tetra Laval is worth £7.6 billion.The Sunday Times Rich List ascribed half of that to Kirsten and Jorn, adding £100m for stud farms and their stake in Ocado. She has an estimated net worth of $7.14 billion in July 2017, according to Bloomberg.
