It took Julie Ann Davey just around five years for her to create her multimillion-pound property empire. She began from small beginnings in 1999 with housing single asylum seekers for the county council of Kent. By the end of 2003, the assets of the Angel Group had expanded to almost $52.85 million according to the last company report.
During that time, Ms. Davey was able to form 57 other companies. Aside from the significant dividend payments, she also awarded herself a salary of half a million pounds. The sole director's basic pay is what any person would expect that the head of one Britain's top officers will get.
Various accolades have followed and she was also able to receive numerous rewards. Some of her rewards are a red Ferrari, a Range Rover Vogue, business interests in Cyprus, Israel, Poland, and the USA. She also eventually built a new three-story headquarters that is within the Docklands of London.
In the previous year, the Estate Gazette's rich list put her at number 15 out of the 20 wealthiest women when it comes to property. Last June, realbusiness.co.uk, an online business website, placed her at number 17 on the list of 50 top business women with a net worth of $173 million.
