Israeli businessman Yitzhak Tshuva has an estimated net worth of $3.1 billion as of April 2016, according to Forbes. This 65-year old business magnate acquired most of his wealth from his numerous real estate investments. He currently serves as the Chairman of El-Ad Group which owns Plaza Hotel in New York. He is also the owner of Delek Group, an Israeli conglomerate.

In July 2012, Yitzhak Tshuva earned around $400 million from the sale of his 60% stake at Manhattan's Plaza Hotel and its nearby retail space area. Eight years ago, he purchased the property for $675 million. He earned $500 million from the sale of his $1.5 billion worth of apartments.

Yitzhak Tshuva was born on July 7, 1948  in Tripoli, Libya. He is currently married and has five children. After working for the Israeli Defense Ministry as a contractor, he began making money in the real estate industry by developing low-income housing in Israel.
