Taiwanese businessman Wei Yin Chun has an estimated net worth of $1.48 billion as of April 2016 according to Forbes.

Originating from Taiwan, Wei Yin Chun is one of the four siblings who founded Tingyi (Cayman Islands). He co-founded the company with Yin-Heng, Ying Chiao, and Ing-Chou. Currently listed at Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Tingyi is a company that specializes in manufacturing beverages. The company owns almost half of the ready-to-drink tea businesses throughout China.

Tingyi is also associated with other businesses like Itochu, Asahi Beverages and Sanyo Foods. Just last year, Tingyi  hosted "8th World Instant Noodles Summit," with the theme "Instant Noodles for Better Life."
