A former legislator, Tsai Wan Tsai is a graduate of National Taiwan University. He is currently married with four children. In 2013, his brothers, as well as his cousin T.Y. Tsai were able to make it to this year's list of world billionaires.

Tsai Wan Tsai is best recognized as the founder of Fubon Group, which he currently leads. Fubon Group is now considered as one of the largest financial services companies in Taiwan. The group holds interests in securities, banking and insurance.
