Thomas Schmidheiny is one of the members of the 4th generation of a German-Swiss industrial fortune. He owns 23% stake in Holcim, where he currently holds a seat on the board. He has wine holdings  that include Chapel Hill and Cuvaison labels which he manages personally. However, these labels are currently suffering from the effects of global slump. Holcim is the largest supplier of concrete and cement in the world today. Thomas Schmidheiny run the company for around two decades until he stepped down as Chairman in 2003.
