Taiwanese businessman Suhon Lin is the co-founder of Chang Chun Group, and according to Forbes has an estimated net worth of $1.69 billion as of April 2016. He is also the 19th wealthiest person in Taiwan’s 50 Richest List and is ranked 868th in the list of World Billionaires.

Mr. Lin has earned his estimated net worth of $1.6 billion when he founded the pharmaceutical firm along with Liao Long-Shing and Tseng Shin-Yi in 1949. Each of the founders, who were also graduates of National Taipei University of Technology with chemical engineering degree, holds one-third of the business. Among its overseas business partners include Bayer and Mitsubishi Gas Chemical.

Through his enthusiasm for developing new technologies and improving processes and production quality, Chang Chun Group has succeeded in developing many functional products such as the polyvinyl alcohol and 1.4 butanediol. Lin has also obtained several research and development awards under his leadership in the company as well as his many great contributions to petrochemicals in Taiwan.

Aside from the petrochemical company, Suhon Lin serves as the Chairman of the Dairen Chemical Corporation.  He is also the Executive Director of the Petrochemical Industry Association of Taiwan and Tai Chong Circuit Industrial.
