Sergei Galitsky is a Russian entrepreneur who currently serves as the President of a Russian Association Football Club FC Krasnodar. At the same time, he is also a co-owner and founder of a successful Russian retailing company Magnit. Today, Magnit owns more than 15,000 stores in over 1389 locations. It eventually ran 93 hypermarkets, 2,010 cosmetic stores, and 5,006 cosmetic stores. Every month, the company opens dozens of stores and it eventually hired approximately 79,000 employees.

After graduating with a degree in economics from the Kuban State University, Sergey Galitsky founded Tander, a company which specializes in trading wholesale perfumery and cosmetics. After switching to retail in 2000, he became the owner of the largest network of retail stores in Russia in terms of the number of stores.
