About Paul J. Fribourg
American businessman Paul Fribourg has an estimated net worth of $35 million. He has built his fortune when he joined the ContiGroup in 1976. Since 1999, he is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ContiGroup. He has been the Chairman and CEO of Continental Grain Company, an international agribusiness and investment company which invests in poultry and pork businesses, since July 1997. With ContiGroup, he has worked in several positions with increasing responsibility in both the United States and Europe.
Since 1997, Mr. Fribourg has been the director of Loews Corporation. He serves as the Lead Independent Director and Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee. He is also a member of the Audit Committee and Compensation Committee. He is a director of the Burger King Holdings, Inc. since 2010 where he is a member of the Audit Committee. He also serves as the director since 2011 of the Apollo Global Management, LLC where he is a member of the Conflicts Committee.
Mr. Paul Fribourg also serves as a member of the JP Morgan Chase National Advisory Board and Rabobank International North American Agribusiness Advisory Board. Since 1985, he has been a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Between 1998 and 2007, he served on the Board of Directors of Premium Standard Farms, Inc. From 2007 to 2009, he served on the Board of Directors of Smithfield Foods, Inc.
Paul Fribourg graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College. He then completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
