English businessman, Owen Oyston has a net worth of £90 million as of April 2012, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. The Oyston's family owns 76.3% of Blackpool football club, which paid him £11 million in 2010-11. Oyston has made £50 million since 1987 selling companies and has £10.5 million business assets. In 1996, Oyston was convicted of rape and served three years of a six-year sentence in prison. After his released, he returned to estate agencies and to glossy magazines and relaunched the Oyston's estate agency and revived two previously low-profile Ridings Publications, The Lancashire Magazine and The Yorkshire Magazine. Owen Oyston's son, Karl was the chairman of Blackpool F.C. but resigned from the Board of Directors of the club in August 2010.
