Indonesian businessman Murdaya Poo has an estimated net worth of $1.92 billion as of April 2016 according to Forbes.

From selling newspapers, Murdaya Poo started earning his wealth when he expanded into timber and information technology, through his own firm, Central Cipta Murdaya. In addition to that, Poo is also a part owner of Metropolitan Kentjana, a company that specializes in developing properties. He also co-owns a convention center in Jakarta.

Forbes reports that Murdaya Poo is currently married to Siti Hartati Murdaya. He has four children. In 2013, Siti Hartati Murdaya was accused of bribery. She was fined her $15,000 after having found guilty of the offense.
