Turkish businessman Mehmet Sinan Tara has an estimated net worth of $1.05 billion as of May 2016 according to Forbes.

Mehmet Sinan Tara currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Enka. Today, Enka is considered as one of the largest construction companies in Turkey. The company has been involved in a couple of popular construction projects in Istanbul which include marine slipways, bridges, grain silos, shipyard, piers, docks and industrial plants. Among its earliest significant projects include Turkey's Haydarpaşa grain silos, the Chrysler truck assembly plant, as well as the Aksu paper mill.

Through time, the company expanded its operations from Istanbul to other parts of Turkey, and started dealing with international clients. To date, the company has already completed more than 30 construction projects in Russia. Among its international projects include Russia's oil field infrastructure, a Toyota car factory in St. Petersburg, Russia, a football stadium in Donetsk, Ukraine, new terminal at Sheremetyevo Airport in Russia, brand new city in Oman, and a mega-highway project in Romania.

Mehmet Sinan Tara completed his MBA from  Stanford University. He is currently married with three children.
