Thai businessman Krit Ratanarak has an estimated net worth of $2.7 billion as of April 2016, according to Forbes. Krit Ratanarak's family owns substantial holdings in many companies based in Thailand which include Siam City Cement, Sri Ayudhya Capital, Media of Medias, BBTV, Eastern Star Real Estate, Matching Studio, Ayudhya Allianz CP, and Bank of Ayudhya.

Currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of Bangkok Broadcasting & Television Company (BBTV), Ratanarak also heads one of the leading family business groups based in Thailand.

His father, Chuan, is the founder of Siam City Cement, Bank of Ayudhya, and Bangkok Broadcasting & Television Company. When Chuan died in 1993, Krit took over the business and developed into a diversified group. By 2012, the accumulated value of the groups' businesses was valued at over $13.5 billion.

Ten years after joining Bank of Ayudhya, he became the President and by 1990, he became the chief executive officer. Starting in 1993, he was the Chairman of Ayudhya Insurance, Siam City Cement, Bank of Ayudhya and BBTV.

In addition to being a businessman, Krit Ratanarak is also a politician. He served as the youngest elected senator of the country at age 35. Currently divorced, Krit Ratanarak has a son named Chachchon Ratanarak.
