Juston Rosenstein attended Stanford University where he completed his undergraduate degree in Mathematics. After dropping out from the graduate program of the university, he started working as a software engineer for Google. He has also served as Google Page Creator as a product manager. In 2006, he worked on a project called Platypus.

In 2007, he started working for Dustin Moskovitz and Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook as a lead engineer. He oversaw the social networking site's 'Like' button, Pages, and Facebook Beacon. In October 2012, his ASANA was valued at $280 million. The company then hired 35 employees.
