Most of his net worth is obtained from serving as portfolio manager and managing director of many multi-billion dollar investment firms in the country. While working for Neuberger Berman, Gary Kaminsky was instrumental in increasing the company's funds under management from $2 billion to $13 billion.

After his retirement from Neuberger Berman in 2008, he started working as host for The Strategy Session which is aired on CNBC. Since April 2013, Kaminsky has been serving as Morgan Stanley's Vice Chairman Wealth Management. Prior to his current career, he has been associated to various hedge fund companies which include J.R.O. Associates, as well as Cowen & Company.

Originating from New York, Gary Kaminsky is a graduate of Newhouse Communications School at Syracuse University, completing a degree in In Radio, TV and Film Management. In 1990, he completed his MBA in Finance from New York University.
