Argentinian American businessman Eduardo Eurnekian has an estimated net worth of $2.2 billion as of April 2016 according to Forbes.

Born in 1932, Eurnekian's family is an immigrant from Armenia who was directly involved in textile manufacturing. Through time, it became one of the most important suppliers of many international sporting apparel firms like Puma. Today, Eduardo Eurnekian owns almost a billion dollar media empire and is a majority owner of consortium that operates 76 airports worldwide, most of which are found in Armenia, South America and Argentina.

Currently, Eurkenian leads the America Corporation which is considered as the most diversified holding company in Argentina. His nephew, Martin Eurkenian currently serves as the president of Puerta del Sol which manages the airport business in Uruguay.
