Russian businessman Dmitry Mazepin has an estimated net worth of $3.2 billion as of March 2013 according to Forbes. Mazepin is known to be the owner of Uralchem, a mineral fertilizer company that is currently involved in Russian politics. Born in 1968, Dmitry Mazepin is a graduate of Moscow Institute of International Relations. He is currently divorced with two children.

After graduation, Mazepin worked for petrochemical companies like Sibur and TNK until 2000. In mid-1990's, he held several top management positions in companies like Nizhnevartovskneftegas, Russian Federal Property Fund, Kuzbassugol Coal company and Tyumen Oil Company.
