American businessman Daniel Snyder has an estimated net worth of $2.1 billion in December 2016 according to Forbes. He is known to be the present owner of the American football team, Washington Redskins. He is also known to be the major investor to Red Zebra Broadcasting which is considered as Redskins Radio ESPN's home.

Daniel Marc Snyder was born on November 23, 1964 in Silver Spring, Maryland USA. He is a drop-out of the University of Maryland, College Park.

Using the seed money from their father, Daniel Snyder and his sister, Michelle, founded an advertising company which was later named as Snyder Communications LP. Primarily focused on wallboard advertising in doctor's office, the company later ventured into the distribution of medicine packages and soaps.

Through a series of acquisitions, the company has expanded extensively. A year after the company acquired the  Arnold Communications, Snyder Communications already had 12,o00 employees and earned an annual revenue amounting to $1 billion. In 2000, Snyder Communications was purchased by the French group Havas.

Prior to the sale of the company, Snyder purchased the Jack Kent Cooke Stadium which is now known as FedExField, and the Washington Redskins for only $800 million when  Jack Kent Cooke, its previous owner died. Under his ownership, he has significantly increased Redskins' revenue from over $100 million to $245 million,approximately. In fact, in 2007, the franchise became the highest grossing team in the National Football League.
