Korean businessman Chung Eui-Sun has an estimated net worth of $2.9 billion as of April 2016 according to Forbes. He is best recognized as the son of Chung Mong-koo who currently sits as the Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group. Today, Chung Eui-Sun serves as Hyundai Motor Company's Vice Chairman.

Chung Eui-Sun was born on October 18, 1970 in South Korea. He attended Korea University where he completed his bachelor's degree in business management administration. Eventually, he went to the University of San Francisco School of Business to take his MBA. Currently based in South Korea, Chung Eui-Sun is married with two children.

Prior to his current position, Chung Eui-Sun has served various top management posts in the company. From 1994 through 1999, he served as the Deputy Manager of Hyundai Precision and Industries Ltd. He then became the Director of Hyundai Procurement Planning & Coordination Group from 1999 through 2001.

He has also worked as the Deputy Operating Office of Hyundai Information Technology Center, Hyundai-Kia After-Sales Service Division, and Hyundai Motor's Domestic Sales & Marketing Division. From 2003 through 2005, served as the Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai-Kia Corporate Planning Division. From 2005 through 2009, he served as Kia Motors Corp's president which is a Hyundai Motor subsidiary. Since 2009, he has been serving as the Vice Chairman of Hyundai Motor Company Sales & Planning.
