Carlo Benetton was born on December 26, 1943 in Treviso, Veneto, Italy. Though currently single, Carlo Benetton has five children Leone, Stefano, Andrea, Massimo, and Christian.

Together with his siblings, Gilberto, Giuliana and Luciano, Carlo Benetton founded the famous Benetton Group sometime in 1965. He currently serves as the Deputy Chairman of the group and is tasked to oversee the technological processes as well as the production projects analysis of the company. He also oversees the new industrial developments in clothing and textile sectors.
