Anthony Scaramucci was born on January 6, 1964 in Long Island, New York. He is an alumnus of Tufts University where he completed his Bachelor's degree in economics then off to Harvard Law School to obtain his J.D.

After his graduation in 1989, he worked for Goldman Sachs until 1996 where he held several positions in various divisions such as Equities, Private Wealth Management and Investment Banking. After leaving Goldman Sachs in 1996, he formed Oscar Capital Management together with Andrew Boszhardt. In 2001, the company was acquired by Neuberger Berman and by 2003, it was again sold to Lehman Brothers. Upon the sale in 2003, Anthony Scaramucci has been serving as the managing director of the Investment Management division. It was in 2005 when he founded SkyBridge Capital. Currently, the investment firm manages over $7.2 billion worth of assets.
