Jimmy Hoffa Jr. is an attorney and labor union leader with an estimated net worth of $2 million. Born James Phillip Hoffa on May 19, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan, he is the son of Jimmy Hoffa who was also the president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, a labor union based in the United States and Canada. Between 1968 and 1993, Jimmy Jr. served as an attorney for Teamsters. He was first elected as the General President during the December 1998 election. He took office in March 19, 1999. Subsequently, he was re-elected in 2001, 2006, and 2011 for five-year terms.

Under his leadership, Mr. Hoffa has been true to his words. Two hundred full-time positions were created at the United Parcel Services (UPS) after Teamsters asserted pressure on the company. Since then, he has helped improve the lives of U.S. blue collar workers which resulted to better working conditions, better pension schemes, and better benefits and pay. He also went head-to-head with bigger organizations such as Northwest Airlines and Continental Airlines. Also, he was the catalyst for making Champions Air Flight Attendants to sign their first-ever contract with Teamster in 2001. He is considered an advocate of better working and fair trade.
