Ray Muzyka is a Canadian investor, entrepreneur, and physician who has an estimated net worth of $80 million. He is best known as the co-founder of BioWare along with his classmate, Greg Zeschuck in the early 1990's. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He graduated from Old Scona Academic High School and later earned a medical degree from the University of Alberta. Instead of focusing on post-graduation in medicine, they founded the company which became part of Electronic Arts (EA) in 2008. He was named the Senior Vice President and General Manager for EA as well as the CEO for BioWare.

While working at BioWare, the company has developed popular games such as Shattered Steel, Baldur’s Gate, the Neverwinter Nights series, Mass Effect, Jade Empire, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2. It also worked with LucasArts to produce Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic and Star wars: The Old Republic.

Aside from BioWare, he also serves as the Director and Co-Chairman of CodeBaby Corporation. He is one avid poker player. On March 27, 2013, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Game Developers Choice Awards.
