Lirio Parisotto is a Brazilian entrepreneur who later built his fortune as an investor. Lirio Parisotto has an estimated net worth of $2 Billion. He is a pioneer in the segment of video services in Brazil. In 1988, he created a video and audiotape production company, Videolar. It is a leading manufacturer of CDs, CR-Rs, DVDs, DVD-Rs, NHS, floppy disks and comporents. He then began investing the profits in the stock market. His Geracao Futuro L Par fund, of which he owns 92%, is worth $1 billion. His other assets include Brazilian bonds, the majority of Videolar, which is now a petrochemical company, and real estate in Sao Paulo state.

Parisotto was born in southern Brazil but now makes his home in the city of Manaus in the Amazon. A firm believer in protecting the Amazon rain forest, he serves as vice president of the Foundation for a Sustainable Amazon. He has been a Director of Eternit S.a. and Centrais Eletricas de Santa Catarina-CELESC. In 2002, he received 'Entrepreneurial Person of the Year' award by Enrst and Young.
