Mr. Hamoui began accumulating his estimated net worth of $300 million when he became the President of Mobile Ads at Google, Inc. He created Admob to address the growing opportunity of mobile advertising. He served as the CEO and a member of the company’s board of directors from January 2006 until the company acquired Google in May 2010. He was responsible in running one of the fastest growing and most innovative companies in the mobile world.
While working at Google, Omar was named the Vice President of mobile ads who is responsible for the development and innovation of the company’s mobile advertising products. The team later became part of LinkedIn in 2013.
Omar Hamoui is also the current Director of Offermatic, Inc. He is an investment partner and partner of Sequoia Capital with focus on mobile investments.
