Born on October 14, 1946 in Phoenix, Arizona, he began his career by purchasing and remodeling The Moonlite Bunny Ranch which was founded in 1995. He then purchased Kitty’s and renamed it The Love Ranch North. He had two additional brothels that he bought from Joe Richards, a long-time Nye County brothel proprietor. He renamed Cherry Patch in Crystal, Nevada to Love Ranch South and the Cherry Patch II in Amargosa Valley, Nevada to Alien Cathouse. He is also the owner of NV50, a nightclub restaurant across the street from the Moonlight Bunny Ranch.
Hof also operates his own website where the “working girls” are encouraged to build online relationships with past and potential clients. He also appeared on talk shows to create publicity for his brothels such as The Johnny Dare Morning Show, The Todd and Tyler Radio Empire, American Pimp, The Tyra Banks Show, Lex and Terry, the Opie and Anthony Show, The Howard Stern Show, The Bubba The Love Sponge Show, Loveline with Stryker & Dr. Drew, Derek and Romaine, and on Dr. Phil.
