American entrepreneur and computer programmer Bret Taylor has an estimated net worth of $120 million in 2012. He is best recognized as one of the creators of Google Maps API and Google Maps. Born in 1979, Bret Taylor is currently married to Karen Padham Taylor. He is an alumnus of Stanford University where he completed his Bachelor and Master's degree in Computer Science.
After leaving Google in 2007, Taylor joined Benchmark Capital, a venture capital firm. Together with Jim Norris, who is also a former employee of Google, Taylor co-founded FriendFeed, a social networking website. Until 2009, he was FriendFeed's chief executive officer when it was purchased by Facebook for approximately $15 million. He served as Facebook's CTO until 2012.
