Of African-American ancestry, Keyshia Dior started making her own name in the industry as a stylist who has worked with various celebrities including athletes, actors and musicians. Eventually, she became a model who appeared on ad campaigns and multiple magazines.

She started getting national attention after appearing on Timbaland's music video titled "Say Something". She launched her own cosmetic line, KA'OIR Cosmetics, in 2011. Just recently, she collaborated with Trina, a multi-platinum artist, in the creation of the lipstick line,  "Neon Rockstarr".
