Suge Knight was born on April 19th 1965 in California. He is the founder and CEO of Black Kapital Records. He is also the co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records. He has a net worth of $200 thousand.

As a producer and CEO of Death Row Records, he signed artists such as Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg. Death Row Records dominated the rap charts after the release of the album of Dr. Dre called “The Chronic” in 1992. However Death Row Records fell apart after Suge Knight was jailed for parole violations in September 1996. He also tried to launch a new label called the “Blackball Records”.

Knight was arrested in October 1987 for domestic violence. He assaulted his girlfriend and cut her ponytail off on the street. On Halloween Night 1987, Knight was arrested in Las Vegas for attempted murder, auto theft, and carrying a concealed weapon. He had shot a man three times while stealing his car. He pled guilty and received two years probation. The label, Death Row Records suffered when Dr. Dre who was frustrated with the increasing bad reputation and Knight’s violent inclinations decided to leave and form his own label. In June 2008, he sold Death Row Records to a New York based company called Global Music Group.

In 1991, Suge had a son, Taj who was living in Atlanta with his mother, Davina Barnes. In 1993, he had a second son, Andrew. Andrew lives in the Greater Los Angeles with his mother Tia.
