A successful business magnate, Steve Wynn has an estimated net worth of $3 billion. Born Stephen Alan Weinberg on January 27, 1942 in New Haven, Connecticut, his family had to change their name to Wynn when he was 4 years old to avoid anti-Jewish discrimination. He had his first business experience when he took over a string of East Coast bingo parlors upon the death of his father due to heart problems who left $350,000 in gambling debts. Within just a year, he managed to expand the company.

Wynn is known for his involvement in the American luxury casino and hotel industry in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. These include the Golden Nugget, the Golden Nugget Atlantic City, The Mirage, Treasure Island, the Bellagio, and Beau Rivage in Mississippi. He even played a pivotal role in the resurgence and expansion of the Las Vegas Strip in the 1990s.

Steve Wynn owns Wynn Resorts Ltd., an American publicly traded company that specializes on building and refurbishing infrastructures and resorts. He served as its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board until February 6, 2018 when he announced his resignation because dozens of women accused him of sexual misconduct. He denied all the allegations, claiming they're part of a smear campaign led by his ex-wife, Elaine Wynn, with whom he co-founded Wynn Resorts in 2002.
