Jason Chang is the Chairman and the CEO of Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE) of Taiwan with an estimated net worth of 3.5 billion as of May 2015 according to Forbes. He is also the thirteenth richest person in Taiwan and is ranked 868th in the list of World Billionaires.

Jason C.S. Chang has earned his estimated net worth with ASE, the world’s largest independent semiconductor manufacturing services in assembly and tests. Aside from Taiwan, it also has manufacturing or testing sites in South Korea, Japan, mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico and Silicon Valley. It has more than 50,000 employees around the world. Aside from ASE, he is also an investor in Sino Horizon Holding, a real estate developer in mainland China.

Mr. Chang has been the Chairman of ASE since it was founded in March 1994.He has been its Chief Executive Officer since May 2003. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University and his master’s degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology. His brother, Richard H.P. Chang, is the firm’s Vice Chairman and President.
