Currently residing in Far Hills, New Jersey, Michael Price is an American fund manager and value investor with an estimated net worth of $1.3 billion as of March 2013 according to Forbes.

In 1974, he began working for Mutual Series with Max Heine. He worked for Heine Securities as a research assistant. After Heine's death in 1988, Price became the Chairman and President of the company. During his tenure at Heins Securities, he has significantly increased the value of funds which the company managed to over $17 billion. In 1996, Franklin Securities acquired Heine Securities for $670 million only. In 2001, he left Heine Securities to focus on his own fund company.

Born on July 3, 1951, Michael Price came from a Jewish family. His father used to run a  chain of clothing stores. Price studied at the University of Oklahoma. Michael Price is currently married and he has four children.
