Uri Geller’s fame and fortune comes from performances of spoon bending and other psychic effects on television. He has been in the business for four decades now, and he has appeared in various television shows across the world that have thrilled his viewers. Uri has gained notice on television for his ability of psycho kinesis, dowsing and telepathy. His career includes bending of spoons, describing hidden drawings and making watches run faster.

In 1975, Geller published his first autobiography, “My Story”. Geller starred in the 2001 horror film “Sanitarium”. He appeared as a contestant on the first series of the British reality TV show “I’m a celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” Geller co-produced the “Book of Knowledge,” which was released in April 2008. He started his career as a nightclub entertainer for smaller audiences. He even did a show on Dutch television called “De Nieuwe Uri Geller”.

Geller lives in Berkshire, United Kingdom and speaks English, Hebrew and Hungarian. Geller was born in Tel Aviv, Palestine. He is the son of Itzhaak Geller, a retired army sergeant major and Manzy Freud. He worked as a photographic model in 1968.

He got married to Hanna Geller. Michael Jackson was his best friend on the marriage. The couple renewed their wedding vows in 2001. Geller is the president of International Friends of Magen David Adom, a group that lobbied the International Committee of the Red Cross.
