After graduating with a degree in arts and communications in 1981, Linda Cohn started working as a sports anchor for the WALK-AM radio station. In 1987, she was hired by ABC and she was assigned to anchor the  WABC TalkRadio from 1987 to 1989. Her first television break came in on 1988 when she was hired by the SportsChannel America which is the biggest competitor of ESPN during that time.

In 1992, she was absorbed by the ESPN and she worked on SportsCenter. Until today, Linda Cohn continues to anchor the SportsCenter. Cohn also authored a book titled Cohn-Head: A No-Holds-Barred Account of Breaking Into the Boys' Club, which features her deep passion for sports as well as her working experiences in ESPN's SportsCenter. As of the moment, Linda Cohn has a net worth of $10 million.
