Julissa Bermudez was born on 28th September, 1983 in the Dominican Republic. She was raised in Elmhurst, Queens, New York where she attended the New York’s Talent Unlimited High School and did the theatre major. She started modeling and auditioning for various roles in films and TV shows while she was in school. Her first big break was a Coca-Cola commercial. She was also one of the six finalists who competed to represent singer Jennifer Lopez’s sweetface fashion line.
Julissa did really well as a television host for the shows such as of The Roof, 106 & Park, and The Center. By being a TV host, she was introduced to a wide audience. She has been focusing primarily on her acting career since 2007. Julissa appeared as a guest star on shows such as Royal Pains, Z Rock, and Rescue Me and was also seen in six episodes of the reality series, “Jersey Shore”.
