After attending Bayside High School, Daymond John participated in a co-op program which instilled him the entrepreneurial spirit. Founding FUBU in 1992, Daymond John's business started when he and his neighbor Carl Brown began selling wool hats at $10 each which is relatively cheaper compared to what the other sellers offer.
