He was born on December 22nd 1972 in The Bronx, New York. His full name is Darian “Big Tigger” Morgan. Morgan grew up in Co-op city and played basketball. He was also rapping there under the guidance of a local disk-jockey – Rob Lasky.
While attending the University of Maryland College Park, he interned at the Washington DC radio station WPGC 95.5FM. At WPGC, Morgan worked alongside the popular host Albie De. He was promptly recognized for his ambition and charisma. It was his college internship that ultimately evolved into a flourishing career.
Morgan entered the television scene on voiceovers for Black Entertainment Television in 1996. Big Tigger hosted BET’s top rated show 106 & Park until July, 2006. His rap career actually began when he was featured on “Snake”. He recently demonstrated his lyrical prowess on Jordan Brands promotional CD. Tigger also works as the resident DJ at Washington wizard’s games.
