Michael Trent Reznor is an American musician, composer and record producer with a net worth of $70 million. Reznor serves as the producer, composer, vocalist and instrumentalist for the industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails. The band's only official member, Reznor must recruit additional musicians to perform live on tour after recording albums in the studio. Reznor teamed up with composer Atticus Ross to score both The Social Network and The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, for which they won an Academy Award and a Grammy, respectively.
Reznor has worked with an impressive array of acts over the years, lending his talents to Marilyn Manson, Saul Williams, Queens of the Stone Age and Jane's Addiction. Reznor has also worked on various video games -- the music in Quake is credited to him, and he performed and composed the theme song to Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
An outspoken critic of the music industry, Reznor has encouraged fans to steal his music and published several albums independently.
