Susan Lucci has earned a lot of her fame and wealth from the role of Erica Kane in the television series “All My Children” which remained on air from January 16th 1970 to September 23rd 2011 – for more than four decades. She has been cited as the highest paid actor in the Television Guide of New York Times and the Los Angeles Times. In 1996, Lucci was ranked number 37th on the Television Guide’s 50 Greatest TV stars of all time lists. In 2005, Lucci received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was even named as VH1’s Top Icons of all time.

Later on in her career, Lucci guest starred in several shows like “Hot in Cleveland” and “Saturday Night Live”. She has her own line of hair care products, perfumes, lingerie and skin care products as well. She has even contested in the season 7 of “Dancing with the Stars” with her dance partner Tony Dovolani.

Susan was born in Scarsdale, New York. Her father is Italian while her mother is French and Swedish. She has graduated in BA degree in drama in 1968 from the Marymount College. She went to the Garden City High School, New York in 1964.

Lucci got married to the Austrian businessperson Helmut Huber on September 13th 1969. The couple has a daughter who is a soap opera actress. The couple has another daughter, Andreas Huber who is an aspiring golfer. Her daughter Liza has four kids – Royce, Brendan, Hayden and Mason.
