American singer-songwriter Tracy Chapman has an estimated net worth of $8 million. The multi-platinum and Grammy award-winning artist was born in Cleveland, Ohio on the 30th of March 1964 and was raised by her mother who had a great role to play in developing her music skills. Chapman could play the ukulele by the time she was three years old and the guitar by eight. At this time she had started writing various songs, developing her song writing and singing skills.
