Regina Belle is an American singer-songwriter who first surfaced in the late 1980s. He has an estimated net worth of $7 million. Born on July 17, 1963 in Englewood, New Jersey, she began attracting attention with her local voice in her church performances. At the age of eight, she sang her first solo in church. She attended Dwight Morrow High School where she studied trombone, tuba, and steel drums. She studied opera after graduation at the Manhattan School of Music. She became the first female singer at Rutgers University’s jazz ensemble. Her music is highly influenced by Phyllis Hyman, Billie Holiday, Shirley Caesar, and Nancy Wilson.

In 1986, Belle signed with Columbia Records. In 1987, she released her debut album All By Myself that spawned two hits, So Many Tears and Show Me the Way. In 1989, she released her second album Stay with Me. Since then, she has recorded a series of massively successful duets. She recorded a duet Better Together with John Mathis in 1991. She teamed up with Peabo Bryson for the songs I Can’t Imagine, Without You, and A Whole New World which was the featured pop single from the soundtrack of the 1992 Disney movie Aladdin. In 1993, her third album was released and ahs achieved a Gold status. She has released five more albums since then that included an album of jazz standards and a gospel album. She continues to tour and perform as well as appeared with several articles such as Paul Taylor, Al Jarreau, and Stephanie Mills among others.
