Olivia Newton-John is a singer, songwriter and actress with an estimated net worth of $40 million. She has been successful both as a singer and actress. She earned her fame in
pop and soft rock music genres which made her a four-time Grammy Award winner. She was born on 26th of September 1948 in Cambridge , England. At the age of 5 she was relocated to Australia because her father was offered a job as the dean of a college in Melbourne. At the age of 14, she started to perform in a local coffee shop with her three classmates and became regular in a local radio station and television shows. She won a singing talent contest in 1960 and moved to back England. She released her first solo album, If Not For You, in 1971 followed by several successful albums. Some of her biggest hit albums are Let Me Be There, If You Love Me, Let Me Know , Have You Ever Been Mellow, and Clearly love, which earned her many awards.
Her career as an actress in the movie "Grease" became the biggest box-office hit in 1978. As the main character of Sandy Olsson, alongside was co-star John Travolta as the role of Danny Zuko. Both actors had soaring careers after Grease.
The movie is still popular today, as it was re-released for its 20th anniversary in 1998[ and ranked as the second highest grossing film behind Titanic in its opening weekend. As a cancer survivor, she released a charity album, " This Christmas" to support The Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre and the Jett Travolta Foundation in November 2012.
