Jose Feliciano is a Puerto Rican guitarist, singer, and songwriter who has an estimated net worth of $12 million. José Monserrate Feliciano García was born on September 10, 1945 in Lares, Puerto Rico and he was already permanently blind due to congenital glaucoma. He was first exposed to music when he was three. His family moved to the US when he was five and he started performing at the Teatro Puerto Rico in The Bronx when he was nine.

Feliciano's first single titled Everybody Do the Click was released in 1964 and between 1965 and 1966, his first album titled The Voice and Guitar of Jose Feliciano and A Bag Full of Soul was released. He has earned worldwide recognition with his international hits including Feliz Navidad, Light My Fire and The Doors. Since then, he has released several albums both in English and Spanish.

In 1969, Jose Feliciano won two Grammy Awards as Best Pop Song of the Year and Best New Artist of the Year. In his entire music career, he has performed duets with some world renowned artists such as Johnny Cash, Glenn Campbell, Diana Ross, Andy Williams, Bing Crosby, and Frank Sinatra.
