Johnny Mathis' net worth is an estimated $400 million. He is a popular American singer and he owes his fortune to his lucrative career, reportedly selling 350 million albums worldwide and wise investment of his money over the years. He owns chains of restaurants, invests in stocks and holdings, dabbles in the fashion business with his 'Johnny Mathis Seduction' and even owns a football team.
Johnny Mathis is one of the few people who can still sell out tickets and although he experienced a momentary slowdown in his career in 2010, he is back with more tours and appearances. His greatest mentor is his musician father, Clem Mathis, who taught him all he knows about music in his early years. It was Helen Noga who noticed his talent in the early 1950s and offered to manage Johnny's singing career.
In 1955, Johnny got his first big break as a singer and was signed a contract by George Avakian, a Columbia Records executive. His first album materialized in 1956 and was inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame three times for his successful songs.
