Howie Dorough together with Brian Litrell, Alexander McLean, Kevin Richardson and Nick Carter formed the Backstreet Boys back in 1993. Their debut self-titled album was released in 1996 and enjoyed massive success in Europe. It sold more than eight million copies. They released their second album “Backstreet’s Back” in 1997. It peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 and sold more than 14 million copies. In May 1999, they released their third and most successful album “Millennium”.
