Eddie Levert acquired his net worth of $18 million as songwriter, singer and producer. His genres are blues, soul and funk. He works with the O’Jays as the lead vocalist. Eddie was born in June 16, 1942 in Bessemer, Alabama, though he was brought up in Canton, Ohio.

While in high school, Eddie met pals Bill Isles, William Powel, Walter Williams and Bobby Massey. After watching a nice performance form the Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, they were all motivated to sing.

The O’Jays were initially called The Triumph s & The Mascots. Their first hit was the “Lonely Drifler” that lifted off their first album Comin Through. They were primarily popular with their hits “Love Train,” “For The Love of Money” and “Back Stabbers.” Eddie Levert also starred in the movie called The Fighting Temptations” where he performed his song called He Still Loves Me.

Eddie and the group triumphed and won BET Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a father of three. Sean Levert and Gerald Levert, R&B singers who both died, and Eddie Jr., who is the CEO of the Levert Entertainment Group, which has its headquarter in Los Angeles.
